A Pittsburgh bachelorette weekend tends to go one of a few ways. There is the Saturday-night Strip District bar crawl that turns into a Sunday morning group nap. There is the Airbnb in Bloomfield or the hotel suite downtown where someone is already texting βis everyone alive?β by 8am. There is the brunch reservation the bride-to-be has been excited about for three weeks, which now requires the entire group to function like human beings in roughly two hours.
This is what we do: a registered nurse comes to wherever you are, sets up in the living room, and runs hydration drips for the whole crew while everyone sits on the couch. One hour later, the group text sounds noticeably more optimistic. Here is how that actually works across the whole weekend.
Three bachelorette IV formats we offer
01
Friday afternoon: the pre-weekend loading drip
This one is underused and underappreciated. A hydration drip Friday afternoon (at the Airbnb after everyone has arrived, or at the hotel before the evening starts) is the kind of thing groups describe as "we should have done this years ago." Everyone starts the weekend already topped up on fluids, B-vitamins, and magnesium instead of trying to recover from a deficit on Saturday morning. The nurse arrives, sets up in the living room or suite, and runs the group through sequentially. Most parties of 4 to 6 are done within 90 minutes and out the door for dinner feeling noticeably better than they expected.
02
Saturday morning: the recovery drip
The classic call. Eight people, a Saturday morning, a group chat that has gone suspiciously quiet. Our nurses handle this regularly. It is the highest-volume bachelorette request we see. A registered nurse brings the full clinical kit to your location, does a brief intake with each person (3 to 5 minutes, quick health history, current medications, how they are feeling), and runs the drips. For a group of 6 to 8, plan on about 90 minutes from arrival to wrap. The intake matters: it is what allows the nurse to adjust each bag to each individual rather than running everyone on the same formula. Everyone drips from where they are already sitting, which is usually the couch.
03
Sunday morning: the bridal-party brunch IV
This is the sleeper hit of the three. The whole group has a brunch reservation, the bride-to-be has a flight at noon, and Sunday morning is its own recovery situation after a two-day run. A Sunday morning IV visit (sometimes called the "brunch drip" by the groups who book it) gets everyone functional before the last meal together. We show up at 9am, run the group, and the party is at brunch by 11am feeling considerably more present than they would have been otherwise. If the bride is heading straight to a wedding-week schedule, this format also pairs naturally with the full bridal-party protocol. Whatβs in the bachelorette drip
The bachelorette drip is the same bag as a hangover drip, because that is what the situation calls for. The foundation is a liter of fluids (Lactated Ringerβs or normal saline), which addresses the volume depletion that makes a rough morning feel as rough as it does. From there, most bachelorette-party drips include:
B-Complex
B vitamins are among the first nutrients alcohol depletes. B1, B6, and B12 all support energy metabolism and nervous system function. Clients commonly describe the combination of hydration and B-Complex as the closest thing to feeling like they slept properly.
Magnesium
Alcohol increases magnesium excretion through the kidneys. Low magnesium is associated with the muscle tension, headache, and general nervous-system restlessness that make a rough morning feel especially miserable. IV magnesium may help support muscle relaxation and nervous system calm. Many clients describe the warmth of magnesium entering circulation as one of the first noticeable sensations of the drip.
Vitamin C
Alcohol metabolism generates oxidative byproducts the body has to clear. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that may help support that process. IV delivery allows plasma levels that oral supplementation cannot achieve at the same speed, which is part of why it is a standard addition to the bachelorette bag.
PRN: Zofran (anti-nausea)
Zofran is available as a clinical add-on for anyone who needs it. It is not automatically included in every bag. It is a PRN (as-needed) option the nurse has on hand and will offer if the intake conversation warrants it. The nurse reviews health history and current medications before adding any PRN medication.
Every bag is reviewed and administered by a registered nurse. The intake screen is brief (3 to 5 minutes per person) but it is not skipped. That is the same standard we hold for every session, whether it is at our South Hills studio or at a Bloomfield Airbnb on a Sunday morning. For more on what goes into the drip and why, the hangover IV explainer post covers each ingredient in detail. See our full IV drip menu for all available formulas.
Group pricing for bachelorette parties
Groups of four or more qualify for our group rate. The per-person price drops meaningfully compared to individual studio sessions, which is one of the reasons bachelorette bookings tend to be the most straightforward group IV request we handle. The math works in the groupβs favor.
There is a mobile setup surcharge per visit (not per person), which covers the nurseβs travel time and the clinical kit logistics. For a party of four, that surcharge divided across the group typically comes out to less than the cost of a round of mimosas. For larger parties, the surcharge stays flat: it does not scale with group size, which means the bigger the crew, the better the per-person math.
To compare: a studio session and a mobile session are the same per-person rate. The only mobile-specific cost is the flat surcharge. If the group would rather come in to our South Hills studio than have us come to them, that option is available too. But most bachelorette groups find the Airbnb visit significantly easier to coordinate when half the party is still horizontal.
Group rate kicks in automatically at 4+ people. Mention the party size when you book and we will apply it.
Pittsburgh locations we serve mobile for bachelorette weekends
We serve mobile bachelorette IV throughout greater Pittsburgh. The locations below reflect where we go regularly, not the outer limit of where we will travel.
Downtown hotels: The Fairmont Pittsburgh and the Omni William Penn are our most frequent bachelorette calls. Both have suite setups that work well for a group visit. The Renaissance Pittsburgh, the AC Hotel Pittsburgh, and the Marriott Pittsburgh City Center also come up regularly.
Airbnbs and rentals: Bloomfield and Lawrenceville are the most common Airbnb neighborhoods for Pittsburgh bachelorette groups. We also serve the Strip District, East Liberty, Shadyside, and Mount Washington without issue. If the group has rented somewhere in the northern or western suburbs (North Hills, Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair), reach out and we will confirm availability for your date.
The only thing we need from the venue is a space where people can sit comfortably for 45 to 60 minutes while the drip runs. A couch works. A dining chair works. The bar cart in the corner is optional.
How to book mobile bachelorette IV
Mobile bachelorette bookings are handled through our mobile booking flow. Use the link below, select mobile service, and add the party size, location, and preferred time window in the notes. We typically confirm availability within one business day.
A few things that help us plan the visit: the address or neighborhood, the approximate number of people in the party, and whether you want the pre-weekend loading drip, the Saturday morning recovery, or the Sunday brunch format, or some combination. If the bride is thinking about carrying the hydration work into a full wedding-party prep plan, the Skin, Hair & Glow plan page has the protocol detail. We can scope both in one conversation.
Prefer to talk it through? Call or text us at (412) 440-8702. Bachelorette group bookings are one of the easier conversations we have. Most groups know what they need, and we just need to confirm the logistics.
We come to you. The whole crew.
Friday prep drip, Saturday morning recovery, or Sunday brunch IV: we scope the visit around your weekend, bring everything to your location, and handle the whole group. Groups of 4+ qualify for our group rate.
