NAD+ IV Therapy Pittsburgh

Cellular Energy Support.
Nurse-guided. South Hills.

NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy production โ€” found in every living cell. IV delivery puts it directly into your bloodstream at nurse-selected doses, at a pace your body can handle.

How to Start

Two ways to do NAD+.

Single NAD+ Session
$250
Includes the Replenish bundle

Every session includes a Replenish drip: Glutathione, B-Complex, Glutamine, Proline, and IV fluid. Dose is 250 to 1,000mg, nurse-guided at intake.

Recommended Start
The Loading Series
$1,550
4 sessions ยท 500mg ยท over 4 to 7 days

Four consecutive 500mg sessions replenish cellular NAD+, then maintenance sessions keep the level topped up. Your nurse sets the pace based on your tolerance.

The Science, Simply

What NAD+ actually is.

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a coenzyme found in every living cell. It is centrally involved in how cells produce usable energy from nutrients โ€” a process called cellular metabolism. It also participates in DNA maintenance pathways. We replenish it; we do not treat NAD+-related decline.

Research suggests NAD+ availability may decline with age, and that chronic stress, disrupted sleep, alcohol use, and prolonged illness may place additional demand on these cellular pathways. The science is active and evolving โ€” not settled.

IV delivery bypasses the digestive system entirely โ€” placing NAD+ directly into the bloodstream at concentrations not achievable through oral supplementation. Your registered nurse selects the dose and controls the infusion rate throughout your session. Individual results vary.

Oral NR / NMN

Processed through digestion: bioavailability varies and is limited by gut absorption

Bypasses digestion, delivered directly into the bloodstream under nurse supervision

Note: Neither form is FDA-approved to treat any medical condition. Both are wellness support options.

Reported Observations

What clients commonly describe.

These are subjective reports โ€” not promised outcomes, not clinical claims. Individual responses vary significantly based on dose, health baseline, hydration, sleep, and lifestyle factors. For a longer account of the subjective experience, read what NAD+ feels like from clients who have been through it.

โ˜€๏ธ
"The fog lifting"
Clients who come in describing mental heaviness often report a noticeable shift in clarity in the days after a session. Individual responses vary.
๐Ÿ”‹
Steadier energy
Rather than a stimulant spike, many describe a more even sense of energy in the days following infusion. Research suggests NAD+ plays a role in cellular energy production โ€” individual results vary.
๐Ÿง˜
Less "wired but tired"
Executives and high-output professionals sometimes describe a calmer quality to their alertness after a session โ€” still engaged, but less frantic. Subjective and individual.
๐Ÿƒ
Shorter-feeling recovery windows
Athletes and active clients sometimes note that post-training fatigue feels shorter in duration. This is a self-reported observation, not a clinical measure.
๐Ÿ˜ด
Changes in sleep
Some clients report shifts in sleep quality in the nights following infusion. This is a commonly described but individual response โ€” not a promised outcome.
โœจ
"Feeling like myself again"
Among the most common phrases Megan hears โ€” particularly from clients coming out of a prolonged stretch of stress, travel, or physical illness. Subjective and not universal.

Important Context

What NAD+ IV therapy is not.

Not an FDA-approved drug or treatment
NAD+ IV infusion is offered as a wellness support service. It is not approved by the FDA to treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have an active or serious health condition, please consult your physician before booking.
Not a replacement for medical care
Nothing on this page or in our protocols should be taken as medical advice. Megan and our nursing team can discuss your goals, but they are not your treating physician. We do not diagnose.
Not a guarantee of any outcome
The observations clients describe are real, but they are individual, subjective, and not clinically promised. Some people feel a significant shift after their first session. Some feel very little. Dose, health baseline, hydration, sleep, and stress all influence the experience.
Not a quick-in, quick-out infusion
NAD+ must be infused slowly to minimize discomfort. Depending on dose, plan for 2 to 6 hours. This is not a 45-minute vitamin push.
Who Books NAD+

Who comes in for it.

NAD+ is not for everyone. Here is who we most commonly see, by lifestyle and goal, not by medical condition.

Executives & high-output professionals
Managing demanding schedules and looking for a wellness session focused on cellular energy support โ€” not stimulants. Many book quarterly or monthly.
Active adults & fitness-focused clients
Looking for a nurse-guided replenishment session during heavy training blocks or recovery periods. NAD+ is framed here as a cellular support option, not a performance drug.
Adults 40+ curious about cellular health
Research suggests NAD+ levels may decline with age. Clients in this group are often interested in understanding that research โ€” not chasing a promised outcome.
Clients in post-stress or post-illness seasons
Coming out of a prolonged stretch of poor sleep, travel, or physical illness and looking for more structured support than a standard hydration drip.
Clients entering a structured wellness plan
NAD+ is the anchor session of our Longevity & Cellular Reset and Elite Cellular Performance plans. Those clients want NAD+ embedded in a full nurse-guided protocol, not as a standalone.
Biomarker-Guided Longevity

NAD+ is the anchor of our
cellular wellness plans.

Our Longevity & Cellular Reset and Elite Cellular Performance programs are built around a NAD+ loading series, biomarker lab review, and custom clinical drips formulated by your nurse from your results. For clients who want NAD+ embedded in a full nurse-guided protocol โ€” not just a standalone session โ€” these plans are where that conversation starts.

Between visits

Take NAD+ home between visits.

Some clients use the in-clinic NAD+ IV for higher-dose loading and a separate at-home program for ongoing maintenance between visits. The at-home program is a telehealth intake with a licensed provider, with subcutaneous self-injection if approved.

NAD+ vs. Niagen

Two ways to support the same pathway.

NAD+ and Niagen both support the same cellular-energy pathway, but in different ways. NAD+ IV delivers the active coenzyme straight into your bloodstream, a deeper, longer session. Niagen (NR) is a precursor your body converts to NAD+, given as a quick shot, an easier, more affordable way to stay topped up. Many clients use both, and your nurse can help you choose.

Common Questions

Frequently asked.

Is the infusion uncomfortable?
NAD+ must be infused slowly. Too fast can produce a flushing sensation (chest warmth, mild nausea, or leg cramping). Megan and our nurses titrate the rate carefully. Most clients settle comfortably within the first 20 minutes and stay that way for the full session.
How long does a session take?
Anywhere from 2 hours (250mg) to 5 or 6 hours (1,000mg). Plan your day around it. Many clients bring a laptop, book, or use it as a forced rest period.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal answer โ€” and anyone who gives you one without knowing your health baseline and goals is guessing. Some clients book a single session to try it. Others who want a more structured experience start with a Loading Series โ€” four 500mg sessions over 4โ€“7 days โ€” and then move to monthly or quarterly maintenance. Your nurse will discuss what makes sense based on your goals and schedule during intake.
What's the difference between NAD+ IV and NMN/NR oral supplements?
Oral NAD+ precursors (like NR or NMN) are processed through digestion, and bioavailability varies. IV delivery bypasses the gut and is administered directly into the bloodstream under nurse supervision at dose-specific concentrations. Neither form is FDA-approved to treat any medical condition. Consult your physician about supplement interactions before starting any IV NAD+ protocol.
Can I book without knowing which dose I want?
Yes. Our nurses will walk through your goals, timeline, and tolerance during intake. Many first-timers start with 250mg or 500mg before committing to a loading series.
Is NAD+ IV therapy FDA-approved?
NAD+ IV infusion is not FDA-approved as a treatment for any condition. It is administered as a wellness support service under nurse supervision. If you have an active medical condition, please consult your physician before booking.
