How It Works

The science behind PRP microneedling.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy harnesses the natural healing compounds in your own blood. We perform a quick, routine blood draw at the beginning of your appointment. The sample is processed in a clinical centrifuge to separate red blood cells from the concentrated platelet-rich plasma containing growth factors.

Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, and your nurse gently applies the PRP solution during the session. This process is intended to support the skin's natural renewal response and collagen activity.

The Stamping Advantage: Our nurses use a vertical stamping motion rather than a dragging motion. This keeps the treatment controlled, gentle, and precise.

FAQ

Questions about PRP Microneedling.

What is PRP microneedling?
PRP microneedling combines a small blood draw, platelet-rich plasma preparation, and microneedling. The PRP is applied during the session to support the skin's natural renewal process.
What is the difference between standard microneedling and PRP?
Standard microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin. Adding PRP brings platelet-rich plasma into the session, which may support the skin's natural collagen and recovery response.
Does the treatment hurt?
We apply a medical-grade topical numbing cream to the skin before the procedure to ensure a comfortable experience. Additionally, our registered nurses use a gentle stamping technique rather than a dragging motion, minimizing discomfort and skin tearing.
How many sessions are recommended?
Many clients choose a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. A longer series may be discussed for texture concerns or acne-scar support, depending on your goals and clinical screening.
